Demonic Temptation

Following the mighty midday daemon
Giving in to the warmth and the rising heat
Sleeping in the nice cosy outdoor hammock
Living in the moment ev'ryday

Lying around without any purpose
Living each hour having nowhere to go
Drifting thoughtless through the ether
Swallowing time with nothing but lethargy

Looking at this great work of perfection
Presenting with pride all acomplishments
Independent of all other beings
Belitteling others as inferior

Focusing only on own achievements
Pushing the ego but nothing else
Feeling satisfaction just from own deeds
Polishing the mask forget the soul

Spending just what is required not more
Gathering wealth and more prosperity
Pinching the pennies althouth there are plenty
Hoarding riches with out having enough

Collecting money for the sake of itself
Cutting the cost no matter the cost
Accepting struggle to minimize expenses
Put the imaginary before the real

Expressing mischief for other people
Resenting other peoples' success
Grudging everyone every blessing
Bringing no joy but only malice

Expressing hunger through spiteful eyes
Envying every hand that gathers gold
Denying others even crumbs of fortune
Bearing no warmth but only venom

Following instincts and soft midnight whispers
Indulging desire and the burning touch
Breathing in the sweet perfume of warm skin
Living for pleasure everynight

Lusting for flesh and immoral desires
Striving for endless satisfaction
Searching for carnal desire
Sensing lechery passion

Filling the plate and longing for more
Gobbling without limits or self-respect
Exaggerating without reflection
Gorging oneself in candy and sweets

Wolfing down pigs and pigging down wolfs
Devouring one cake after the next
Feeding on everything within the reach
Filling the body without fullfillment
