Storm In The Swamp

Silent and calm
Like never ending bliss
A world of innocence
Disturbed again

The surface of
The swampy water is still calm
The water lilies feel no breeze
Yet you can feel that something's off

A shiver's running down my spine
Incoming wind intensifies
Changing velocity

The storm arrived
A frightening thing on the horizon

It looks like it
Will purge us all at once
From the horizon off off the earth

Signs were ignored
The disbelievers they were wrong
Have been cleansed from our mids
A lesson learned but far too late

A thunder clashing down the ground
A spark ignites the plasma cloud
Sudden roaring impact
Pure chaos in the distance

Can you feel the expanding tension in the air
A disaster coming closer
Cleansed the mankind at once
